Tax Help

Free tax help at the Belgrade Senior Center:
AARP is helping with full tax assistance and filing at the Senior Center. Call (406)388-4711 to make an appointment.

Learn how to do your taxes online at the Belgrade Community Library
A trained tax coach will walk you through filing your own taxes online. This service is provided free by HRDC. Sessions are on Mondays from Feb 2 - Apr 17 from 11am-4pm (walk-ins welcome). Call (406)585-4878 for more information. This is different from how volunteers have helped people in the past - for help like in the past, call the Senior Center.

Voter Information Series

Belgrade Community Library will be hosting a Voter Information Session on the upcoming Parks & Rec District Levy on April 6 and a Candidate Forum for the Belgrade School Board on April 13.

Voter Information Session on a Parks and Recreation District; $49 million bond vote for Aquatics Center; & Urban Transportation District

Thursday, April 6 from 6:30-8:30PM

The Informative Session will focus on the two ballot items around recreation in Belgrade: the creation of a Parks & Recreation District, which will include an Aquatics center, trail system, dog park, and more; and the $49 million bond vote for an Aquatics Center including the land it would be built upon.

HRDC's Streamline will also attend to discuss the Urban Transportation District on the ballot.

Candidate Forum for Belgrade School Board election

Thursday, April 13 from 6:30-8:30PM

This Candidate Forum for the school board will provide an opportunity for the candidates to introduce themselves to the community and share their vision for the school district.  Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and engage with the candidates.

A Pre-Earth Day Celebration!

Join us for a Garden Party at the Library on April 20 from 5:30-7PM! This event will feature the seasonal opening of our Seed Library, a Plant Swap, and local Gardening Experts who will be available to answer your gardening questions. Don't miss out on the chance to win some great giveaways!  

Feel free to bring a plant, cuttings, or seeds to contribute to the seed and plant exchange, if you have some! 

This event will take place in the library and is free and open to the public. 


Mother's Day Brunch

Looking for a sweet way to celebrate Mother's Day? Look no further than The Mint! On May 14th from 10AM-2PM, Belgrade Community Library Foundation will be hosting a special Mother's Day Brunch fundraiser at The Mint. Enjoy a delicious brunch with your loved ones while supporting the library's goal to provide free resources and programming to the community. The menu will include prime rib, smoked salmon, scrambled eggs, bacon, fruit, & more!

Tickets are $31 per adult and $15 for children under 12. Children under 3 are free. Call The Mint at (406)924-6017 to make a reservation! Don't miss out on this wonderful opportunity to celebrate Mom and support a great cause!

Adult Crafternoon


Adult Crafternoons are monthly craft projects with supplies and instructions provided by the Library, that usually happen on the 2nd Thursday of the Month as either take-home kits or LIVE events in the Library’s Meeting Room.

The date may vary for LIVE events.

Fitness at the Library

The library provides fitness classes seasonally throughout the year either outside or in the community room upstairs.


Book Clubs

The library hosts two book clubs each month. In addition to these book clubs the library also can check out a book club kit to existing community book clubs or groups.
