Adult Winter Reading

One Book Belgrade wouldn't be complete without Adult Winter Reading! Whether or not you are joining in our community read series, you can participate in Winter Reading.

Pick up a paper reading log in the library. If you read at least 5 books between January and February, you'll be entered to win a gift card to a local business! Multiple logs can be submitted with no repeat books. Audiobooks, graphic novels, and e-books all count towards the goal as long as they have at least 150 pages. Reading the OBB book will count as an additional entry!

All logs must be submitted by February 29 to be eligible for prizes. Prizes are gift certificates to: The Mint, Murdoch's, Kenyon Noble, Chalet Market, and Bob Wards.

Stop the Bleed Class

RSVP for the Stop the Bleed Training

Join us in a free training on a life-saving skill with Bozeman Health Trauma Team!

Bleeding is the #1 cause of preventable death after a trauma. This training will provide you with basic hemorrhage control skills that can be used to provide immediate aide to a bleeding person before emergency medical response arrives.

*No medical background necessary to take this course.  Open to anyone ages 12 and up.


Orthopedic Seminar

Thursday, March 21 from 6-7:30PM

Please join us for an educational seminar with Dr. Timothy Hiesterman (Ortho Montana) and Physical Therapist, AJ Solbrilsky (Excel PT) 

Dr. Hiesterman will dive deep into:

  • Causes and treatments of chronic hip and knee pain and
  • TKA and THA procedures with the MAKO (robotic-arm assisted surgery)

Al Solbrilsky will be talking about prehab and postop rehab expectations and firsthand benefits of the MAKO.

All are welcome at our free fitness classes! The library provides any necessary equipment (yoga mats, blocks, straps, etc.) or feel free to bring your own. Be sure to remember your water bottle!

Yoga: NEW TIME IN MARCH!! For Tuesdays in March, we will meet starting at 2:30PM.

Qigong with Barb is on Fridays from 12-1PM.

Adult Crafternoon

Adult Crafternoons are monthly craft projects with supplies and instructions provided by the Library, that usually happen on the 2nd Thursday of the Month as either take-home kits or LIVE events in the Library’s Meeting Room.

The date may vary for LIVE events.

Fitness at the Library

The library provides fitness classes seasonally throughout the year either outside or in the community room upstairs.

Book Clubs

The library hosts two book clubs each month. In addition to these book clubs the library also can check out a book club kit to existing community book clubs or groups.
