2022-09_HousePlantSwap (Instagram Post)


Start the first day of Autumn off right with a houseplant swap! Our Adopt-a-houseplant event will take place in the library on Sept 22 from 5:30-6:30PM. Bring cuttings or unwanted houseplants and pots or adopt a new plant to brighten up your home. Have some tea with us and chat about plants!

This event is generously sponsored by the Gallatin REALTORS Charitable Foundation. The Foundation is sponsoring a series of events this Fall focused on the home.

Fix-It Repair Clinic

On Saturday, October 15th from 10AM-1PM, bring your broken items such as torn books, bikes, small appliances, or lamps to the Fix-It Clinic to be repaired for free to keep them out of the landfill. Repairs will be done by the Bozeman Bike Kitchen, Bozeman Makerspace, and community volunteers.

Please only bring items that you can carry yourself & bring replacement parts to facilitate repairs.

Belgrade Districts Candidate Forum

The library is hosting a live non-partisan candidates forum for three offices in Legislative House Districts 67 & 68 and Senate District 34 on Wednesday, October 26 from 6:30-8:00PM. 

The candidates scheduled to speak are:

  • Jedediah Hinkle (Incumbent, Republican) and Elizabeth Marum (Democrat) of HD 67; 
  • Joe Hancock (Democrat) and Caleb Hinkle (Incumbent, Republican) of HD 68; 
  • and Damion Lynn (Democrat) and Shelley Vance (Republican) of SD 34.

OLLI @ MSU Community Events

Belgrade Community Library is once again to host a season of free community events with the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at MSU. These programs are made free and open to the public thanks to generous sponsorship by Belgrade Community Library Foundation.

Adult Crafternoon

Adult Crafternoons are monthly craft projects with supplies and instructions provided by the Library, that usually happen on the 2nd Thursday of the Month as either take-home kits or LIVE events in the Library’s Meeting Room.

The date may vary for LIVE events.

Fitness at the Library

The library provides fitness classes seasonally throughout the year either outside or in the community room upstairs.

Book Clubs

The library hosts two book clubs each month. In addition to these book clubs the library also can check out a book club kit to existing community book clubs or groups.
