Changes in Texting Notifications

We are switching texting notification providers.

What this means for you:

  • If you currently receive library notifications via text, you will not need to sign up for the new system. You may notice a change in structure and content of the text. 
  • You can now sign up for or change settings for text notifications through the "My Account" page on the online catalog webpage.

  • With this change, there is no longer the ability to renew items via text message.

  • However, you can now opt into specific text notifications for overdue notices, which include courtesy (day-before-due) notices, hold pickup notices, direct messages, and/or general announcements from the library.
