Belgrade, Montana - Belgrade Community Library will be hosting a Voter Information Session on the upcoming Parks & Rec District Levy on April 6 and a Candidate Forum for the Belgrade School Board on April 13, both beginning at 6:30PM.
Voter Information Session on $49 million bond vote
Thursday, April 6 from 6:30-8:30PM
The Informative Session on April 6 will focus on the upcoming $49 million bond vote on a city Parks and Recreation District, which will include an Aquatics center, a city trail system, and dog park. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from City of Belgrade and Aquatics Center representatives and ask questions about the proposed bond. This forum is an excellent opportunity for voters to become informed about the bond and its potential impact on the community.
Candidate Forum for Belgrade School Board election
Thursday, April 13 from 6:30-8:30PM
The Candidate Forum for the school board will take place on April 13, also at the Belgrade Community Library. This forum will provide an opportunity for the candidates to introduce themselves to the community and share their vision for the school district.
Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and engage with the candidates to learn more about their experience, qualifications, and positions on key issues. Questions for the candidates will be taken either via email in advance or live from the audience. To submit questions for the candidates in advance, email [email protected] no later than Noon, Wednesday, April 12.
The public is encouraged to attend the forum and bring questions to the candidates. The forum series is free, and no pre-registration is required. Questions from the audience will be accepted after brief opening statements by each candidate.

The meetings will be recorded and available as a podcast on KGVM and on the Belgrade Community Library YouTube page after completion. The series is free and no pre-registration is required.
The voter information series is sponsored by Belgrade Community Library Foundation, Bozeman Public Library, League of Women Voters, American Association of University Women, and Bozeman Professional Women.
Ballots for the election will be mailed out mid-April and can be returned by mail or in-person from 8AM to 5PM Monday through Friday to the County Election Office at 333 W Main St, Room 210 in Bozeman. Ballots are due or must be postmarked by 8PM on May 2.
