What is a CUP?

A CUP, or Conditional Use Permit, is a permit that requires discretionary approval from the city.  In each zoning district is a list of permitted uses, and a list of conditional uses.  Those uses listed as conditional, will need to go through the Conditional Use Permitting process.  The first step for that is to fill out a CUP application.
